Adharm (2006 film)

Adharm is the name of an Indian Bollywood film directed by Adeep Singh released in 2006. It is based on the real-life Chittisinghpura massacre.
== Synopsis ==

The film is based on the real-life events of the Chittisinghpura massacre on 20 March 2000, in which 37 Sikhs were massacred by Islamic Terrorists in Kashmir. The film revolves around two Sikh brothers, Kuldeep (by Rahul Dev ) and Jaideep (by Rocky Khanna ) whose parents were among the victims of the massacre. They migrate to Mumbai. The film contrasts the various ideological and religious movement in India that have extremist views, from Islamic Fundamentalism to Hindu Nationalism, which are often pitted against each other as adversaries. The film revolves around those Muslims who tacitly support Pakistan despite their residing in India.
